Description
This exceptional custom and handmade 9kt yellow gold and palladium brooch features a vintage-inspired flower motif with bezel set centres, channel and bead set petals and leaves, and secured with a double pin hinged clasp for added stability.
The brooch showcases eighty-four natural rubies, including five rectangular step cut and seventy-nine square and trapezoid cut stones, with a combined approximate total weight of 5.10 carats. The rubies are graded with a medium dark tone, strong saturation, purplish red hue, moderately included clarity, and good cut.
Decorating the flower petals are one hundred fifty-eight natural rose cut diamonds with an approximate total weight of 3.45 carats. The diamonds are graded VS to SI clarity, G–H colour, and good cut.
