At Barry’s Jewellers, we are committed to ensuring you’re satisfied with your purchase. Due to the nature of fine jewellery and luxury items, we offer limited exchange options rather than traditional returns. Please review the policies below for complete details.

Returns & Exchanges

All purchases madet hrough barrysjewellers.com or in-store are final sale. We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind.

However, in certain cases, an exchange may be permitted under the following conditions:

● The item must be in original,unworn, and unaltered condition

● All tags, authenticity certificates, appraisals, and packaging must be intact

● The item must be brought in person to our store for inspection and approval

● The exchange must be for an item of equal or higher value

Custom and personalised items are strictly non-exchangeable and non-returnable.

Canadian Consumer Protection Standards

In line with Canadian e-commerce standards:

● All items listed as final sale are legally valid, provided this is stated clearly at checkout and in store policy.

● Exceptions to final sale are typically made only if an item is defective or not as described.

We comply fully with Consumer Protection Acts and guarantee that your item will arrive as described and in new condition.

Watch Warranty – 1 Year

All luxury watches purchased from Barry’s Jewellers include a 1-year warranty, beginning on the date of purchase.

This warranty covers:

Manufacturer defects in movement or craftsmanship

It does not cover:

● Damage caused by misuse, impact, water exposure (unless rated for it), or general wear and tear (e.g.scratches on metal or crystals)

Lifetime Jewellery Warranty (Issued Before Dec 2019)

Barry’s Jewellers proudly honours all Lifetime Jewellery Warranties issued prior to December 2019, including purchases from our former Hamilton and Burlington locations.

Please note: We no longer issue new Lifetime Warranties as of December 2019.

The warranty includes:

● Manufacturing defects (as assessed in-store)

The warranty does not include:

● Normal wear and tear, including fading, scratches, dents, or gemstone loosening overtime

● Repairs or resizing not performed by Barry’s Jewellers

All warranty evaluations must be conducted in person at our store.

Diamond Trade-In & Upgrade Policy

We are pleased to offer a Diamond Trade-In Program for diamonds originally purchased from barrysjewellers.com.

You may trade in your diamond for store credit toward a larger or higher-quality diamond, provided that:

● The new diamond is at least 100% greater in value

●The original diamond is in undamaged condition (no chips or scratches)

● You present the original GIA or AGS laboratory certificate

This policy applies exclusively to natural and lab-grown diamonds purchased from us and does not extend to custom settings or mountings.
